Review content:
My son, a freshman at CU, broke a spoke on his rear wheel and took his bike to Full Cycle near University Hill. Instead of replacing the spoke (worth $.50-$1.25 plus labor) they told him that spokes were not available and they would have to replace the entire wheel and charged him approximately $70.00. I would have shopped around, or at least waited for them to order a spoke (the bike was still rideable), but he?s a teenager and his only transportation in Boulder was his bike so he ?fell? for their disingenuous offer. The wheel they replaced didn?t even match the color of the original wheel (silver spokes instead of black spokes)!
Cons: Fool Cycle takes advantage of naive repair customers
