I've taken my time about finding a doctor since my previous doctor retired. I look for someone that will help cure the problem, not just control it. She's always come through for me. I'm not big on medication, but she actually listens and helps to find the best solutions. She did have her dog at her office, but to me, that's a benefit as pets are known to help with healing. I've been going to Dr. Young for over a year now. And I've seen a few new faces that replace each other, but there are 3 permanent employees that are always there and always care. I had surgery in February and was scared to death about the level of pain that I was told by others who had the same procedure with different physicians. Dr. Young assured me of great results. I trusted her - and my life has changed for the best. I drive from Macon, yet would go further for such a great physician. If you're looking for old-school, she's not it. This facility is inspiring and innovative - they actually care about you.
