Tony Jensen DDS, from Smile Design of Utah and/or Canyon View Dental in Draper Utah, provides HIGH COST and LOW QUALITY. If you need dental work done (anything other than having your teeth cleaned), you should find a dentist who is skilled, who uses high quality materials, and who has integrity.
I received a porcelain bridge that covered my front teeth, including a root canal. The price was exorbitant, even with the small discount he offered for us paying cash up-front. The bridge failed after a very short time, with a large chip missing from one of my front teeth. I went back to him and he refused to honor his work. I could not afford to have it redone due to the excessive amount I had already paid for his shoddy work. I also had three apicoectomies performed by a qualified endodontist, which came about because of his incompetence in properly performing my root canal when the bridge was placed. I have incurred numerous other costs associated with the botched job I received at Tony Jensen's hands. I recently decided to see a real cosmetic dentist after all these years with my chipped bridge to investigate the current cost of replacement. The dentist asked me several times whether I had a porcelain bridge or not. He was clearly confused and shocked because as he pointed out on the x-ray, the area of my bridge would normally have been opaque but was entirely translucent, indicating that a very non-dense and weak material had been used. My father-in-law had also experienced failed crowns he received at Jensen's office and also had to find a new, more quality conscious dentist.
I am so horrified by his lack of competence as a dentist that I would never receive for myself nor recommend to others that they have him perform any work on them whatsoever, even if it were 100% free. I hope this review prevents others from making a serious mistake in entrusting their oral health to Tony Jensen DDS. I wish someone had warned me.
