Review content:
I've been coming to these doctors for quite a while and did not have a complaint until now. I'm upset enough with my experience there over the past week that I'm considering changing doctors.
I came in for a normal routine check up with Dr. Shaw. She informed me that I had damaged some cells on my eyes and referred me to Dr. Swanson, who agreed and suggested 4 different kinds of eye drops to do for about 5 days and wanted me to schedule a follow up appointment, which had to be during my work hours again. I also had to not wear my contacts until I came in again.
I came in to my follow up appointment at 8 am this morning and was taken to a an exam room where I waited for Dr. Swanson and Dr. Shaw for 20 minutes. After 20 minutes I came out to find them and saw them both just arriving. At 8:20. My appointment was at 8. I was missing work. Dr. Swanson apologized and said she was running late because of physical therapy.
After looking at my eyes, Dr. Swanson saw no progress- although I did the drops I spent about $20 total on that she suggested every day, every night- and prescribed me another eye drop that she said would work ""faster""- why she didn't put me on this eye drop from the start- I don't know. Then I paid for this second appointment, which I saw as a waste of time.
So now I'm stuck in my glasses for another ten days, have to buy more eye drops and had to schedule another exam during my working hours.
Based on my next appointment, I will then decide if I should change doctors.
