I've lived down the street from Joe's for about 12 years. It used to be my favorite place for produce, top quality and reasonable prices. After Joe's expansion a couple years ago quality remained, but good the prices went way up
I also love Byrd's Meats next door. I found out last week Byrd's will be gone in December due to Joe not renewing their lease (Joe owns the whole strip of shops). As if this isn't bad enough, Joe intends to put his own meat store in Byrd's place. The greed of this guy! I'm done doing business with Joe's FOREVER.
