Review content:
I am a hair junkie. I have traveled the world from the best salons in NYC to LA. While visiting my mom on the north shore I picked up a local paper and on the front cover was a big article about the salon called Strands. It talked about the owner and mentioned the background of the stlists. From working in London for Vidal Sasson to being voted in Boston Magazine as on of the top salons in the country, my mind was made up. I was so impresssed by their bio I made an appointment. I was in dire need of color and a great cut. I asked the man who politely answered the phone who the best stlist was. He asked me some simple questions about my needs and reccomended Donna. I asked about her background and I was really impressed. I made an appointment. I walked in to this really cool looking salon in Swampscott. Donna was with a client so I was offered a glass of wine...they has diplayed some lovely cheeses and an array of crackers. so I thought sure I will have a glass of wine. Donna came out and greated me. WOW she looked great! This petite women about 40 who looked great came out and seated me in a salon chair. she finished up her client who looked amazing, and sat me down in her chair. We talked about my goals and what I had in mind. Then I stood up and she looked at my body and facial structure and coloring. We shared ideas and she showed my some color swatches. She ended up using 3 colors to put foils in my hair. then she gave me a gloss. WOW! I looked 10 years younger! The cut was the best and most creative cut I have ever had. She took over 1 hour to just cut my hair. My hair was super shiny and the color has hues of auburn and strawberry. I felt like a new person. My fine limp hair suddenly was transformed! I bought some Kerestage spray volumizer and some Pureology shampoo.
Pros: Donna is the mosted skilled atristic hairsylist I have ever had! Great music and wine!
Cons: none!
