I am from Newton and I came to Donna in Swampscott after meeting a women in the North end with the coolest short haircut. The women told me she travels to Swampscott to get her hair cut. I asked her why she went to Swampscott and she told me that before going to Donna she was spending over $200.00 for a cut. She had been to LA ,NYC, and Boston. She explained that it was never really amazing either! The women in the store gave me Donna's card and the rest is history. Donna is pure talent and there is nothing she does not do well. Her hands are like magic. She quoted laughing that ""the spirits guide her"" and that she enters into a different state of consciousness. She explained it was like a runner, dancer or doing yoga. ""It is a natural high"" Donna is creative in many ways...she told me she also dances and is very into music and the mountains. I enjoyed her enthusiasm for life and for her graciousness! Oh ya, I walked out a very happy customer..thrilled with my hair (cut and color)!
Pros: Donna spends as much time as needed, be prepared for an event!
