I like greek food and wanted to try an authentic greek restuarant for my birthday. This was the first visit for my family and I. We made reservation for 5pm and couldn't be seated until the entire party of 8 arrived. By 5:15 everyone had arrived and though the resturant was by no means crowded, it took them an additional 10 minutes to prepare the table. Once we were finally seated our waitress was friendly and attentive. She suggested items that we might want to try. Each dish we ordered had ample portions with the exception of the broiled lobster my daughter order. It was rather small and tasteless. The braised lamb in a herb and tomatoe sauce was tender and practically fell off the bone. It came with greek potatoes and string beans that were in the same tomatoe sauce as the lamb. Can you say delicious on the string beans. I wish I could have said the same thing about the Greek Potatoes which tasted like they had a vingear base sprinkled with herbs. My husband and aunt had the stuffed shrimp which according to them were filled with actual crabment as opposed to a lot of filler. The shrimp were very filling and my aunt left with a take out container. My uncle had the liver any onions which he loved and my two cousins had the chicken kabobs. Again the portions are huge and all entrees come with two sides. Must of us left with take out containers. Since it was my birthday the waitress bought out rice pudding for the entire table and presented me with several varieties of greek pastries with a candle. All an all the experience was good. I would like to see them address the ladies bathroom. There were paper towels all over the floor and the trash can was overflowing with paper towels. A messy bathroom really turns me off because it always makes me examine the sanitation of the entire establishment. I did let the mangement know that the bathroom needed to be addressed. Would I give this resturant another try? Yes. The food is tasty and affordable. Pros: The food is tasty and huge portions Cons: Bathroom was a mess. Took to long to seat us.
