Businiess name:  Bovalino's Italian Ristorante

Review content:
I had been wanting to try Bovalino's so we went there last night for our anniversary. There were only 2 servers for the entire restaurant that seats 40 people, so the attention was far from personal. The feeling was cramped and the lights were too bright, even though there were candles lit on the tables. My husband's Veal Piccata consisted of 4 teeny tiny veal medallions and the marsala sauce it was in was on the same plate as the side of spaghetti w/marinara. I would suggest to the owners to put the spaghetti in a "boat" rather than on the same plate for this particular dish. I was also told my entree, Cavatelli di Pasquale, would have zucchini, which it didn't, yet the server did not even mention it when she served it without. For dessert, we shared a piece of Tiramisu. I took one bite and couldn't eat anymore, it was OVERSOAKED with liquor it wasn't even funny.. and I have had plenty of Tiramisu in my life. One other thing.... for a so called "authentic" Italian restaurant to NOT have cappuccino or espresso is beyond me!!!!! For a quick meal, this place is ok, but not for a special ocassion where you need personalized service, and a quiet romantic atmosphere. Pros: Decent entrees Cons: Lack of attention with service, space
