Review content:
The look of No. 7 is very nice, but I have to say I wasn't that impressed with the food. It took an hour to get seated for dinner on Sat night, so a friend and I split a bottle of wine at the bar and eventually got a snack, which took forever because we had to order from the bartender, who was understandably very busy and didn't see us trying to flag him down. I wasn't really into the ceviche, and was starving by the time we got a table. Service was fine, but my roast chicken was pretty spicy, which I didn't expect, and for $20, three little rounds of breast meat are not worth the price. My friend had the salmon, which she thought was fine but not great. A $120 or so bill for one app, 2 entrees and a bottle of wine could go much further at other Brooklyn establishments with better food. I'd go back to look at No. 7, but not for dinner.
Pros: Pretty interior
Cons: Fussy food was fancy but not delicious
