Businiess name:  Mulleady's Irish Pub
Review by:  citysearch c.
Review content:
***OTHER LOCAL PUBS ARE FAR BETTER*** I regret inviting my friends to celebrate my birthday at boring & bad-service Mulleady's. ***IT WAS MY FIRST TIME THERE AND I SEE NO REASON NOT TO MAKE IT MY LAST.*** Sadly, the incredibly slow & inattentive service could not manage to separate our bill as agreed & not mess-up 1/2 our orders. Half of us never received offer of drink refills & the meal I was served was more fat than meat. There are 2 great locations inside Mulleady's for live music, but on a Saturday night they played the same dross jazz CD all night long & too loud; one would think to get at least canned Irish/Scottish traditional music or rock in a purportedly Irish PUB. Mulleady's has a nice interior, but so-what when you get treated better at a McDonald's or a 7-year-old's lemon-aid stand. When I wrote the owner a 5-paragraph *business letter* to let him know my complaints, he jotted an 18 word response on it & sent me a photocopy only casually saying 'thanks for my *note*' and to get a hold of him at his convenience. I get the impression Mulleady's on the whole doesn't know the first thing about the food/drink industry or business in general. If you want interior, service, quality food, and live Celtic music, I suggest absolutely steering clear of Mulleady's bad-service poseur-Irishy restaurant. Instead go to a real pub -- one that has heart, life & spirit like Kells, Terrible Beauty, Fado and other local establishments where you're more likely to leave with your moneys-worth and a cherished memory.
