Review content:
These apartments are decent. The outside exterior is dated. Be sure that you get a move-in special on the rent or it's not worth it. A lot of apartments have you give them 30 days notice before moving out, when your lease is up. River Chase makes you notify them 60 day in advance. DON'T FORGET! Or you'll be paying several hundred dollars more for the month(s) your lease is extended because you gave them less than 60 days notice. The staff was very attentive and friendly and all my maintenance problems were given attention right away. With all places that operate a Section 8 housing program, you'll have to live with a mix of people. Personally, my downstairs neighbors were loud with their music at times and I felt wary of my next door neighbors for the last few months I was there. I was never vandalized and cars were never broken into. The area around the apartment complex (Florissant/Hazelwood) is a nice working class area, though it's had better days and better residents. Family video across the street is wondeful and there is a Walgreens about an 1/8 of a mile down the road. I give this property an overall average rating.
