Review content:
As a wine connoisseur, I've struggled in finding a one-stop wine shop. I've either come across monster-sized wine stores where you have to take a number, deli-like wine/liquor stores who don't know wine, or boutique like shops that are too limited in selection. My friend turned me to September Wines. All it took was one visit... and I was hooked. I've been going for 6 months now and I was compelled to comment how excellent this place is! My friend lives in Greenwich Village, I live in SOHO, and we both walk to this place every weekend. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable, down-to-earth and helpful. They have the best price points I have encountered in NYC and have a knack for picking and recommending wines at a reasonable price points ($9-15 bottle) that taste like $20-$30+ bottles -- and a great selection of varietals! Can?t say enough, I love this place!
Pros: knowledgeable staff & great prices!
Cons: none.
