Review content:
I am amazed that this place doesn't make the ""best of philly"" every year. Someone's asleep at the wheel. I've tried most of the nicer optical shops in Philly as well as New York and Boston and I gotta tell ya they don't hold a candle to this place. I know New Yorkers in fact who come to Philly to go to Modern Eye because of the selection of hip stuff and the customer service. They always have the coolest stuff and the staff doesn't blink at spending an hour or two with you. I started going to Modern Eye after getting fed up with snooty ""best of"" places in the city and I'm glad I switched. The first time I went I used a prescription from a previous doctor who screwed it up. The guys at Modern Eye didn't blink at remaking my glasses. Next time I went with the doctor who owns the place and got the most comprehensive eye exam of my life. These people are on top of it. They always explain all my options and you can tell that their recommendations aren't just to pad a commission. Do yourself a favor.
Pros: all that i can see
Cons: none that i can see
