Businiess name:  Peggy Sue's 50's Diner

Review content:
I love 50s diners - they are an absolute favourite of ours and we regularly keep an eye out for them. So this one with many advertisements along the 10 freeway caught our attention, and we turned up for a shake to check the place out. It is decorated nicely, but it was as busy as a bus station; hence, the waiting staff were completely disorganised and sort of forgot about us! You seat yourself, so I can see how this could happen; however, I did see the waitress attend to the table next to us, to promptly pocket her tip! Our table was dirty for ages, and there was a table of 5 gentlemen behind us that constantly attempted to flag down the waitress to get coffees! We did have a sweet waitress though, when we finally got her; I can't complain at all about her attitude. She brought the shakes fairly quickly, but they were very ordinary; Ruby's gives a much better selection of shakes, and they're much bigger. Funny this diner lacks this, as I thought milkshakes were a specialty of 50s diners.... The decor was funny and very cool, especially the ""Wizard of Oz"" displays on the wall! But overall, it wasn't memorable. Nice for a coffee, but if it's a busy time, be prepared to wait a while. Pros: Lovely ambience - the 50s memorabilia was very cool Cons: Was like a bus station - couldn't get service or a table cleaned for about 15 minutes! Food average quality - not memorable.
