Review content:
I recently purchased a 2011 Ford SuperDuty. At the time of purchase, I was also sold the extended service plan consisting of ""8 oil changes, 8 fuel filter changes, transmission flush, brake maintenance"" for the great price of $1500.00...covering all maintenance for the first 60,000 miles"". Folks...that means oil change and fuel filter change every 7500 miles on a diesel truck, no other maintenance necessary. My problems started after the first oil change when I was actually told that my first fuel filter change didn't come until 15000 miles. No worries...still seemed like a good deal. When I made it to 15,000 miles, I was then told that my first fuel filter change wasn't due until it had 20,000 miles. As a result, I canceled the plan and received a pro-rated credit for the unused portion of the service plan. I ended up paying $255.00 for each oil change. The staff at Apple Valley Ford was no help at all, they are still unable to provide information regarding the maintenance plan that they so conveniently recommend. I have filed a complaint with the Attorney General of Minnesota. I would definatly rate this dealership a big fat ZERO.
