I had some problems with my brakes and I figured they needed replacement. I took my car to pep boys and had them put on new pads in the front, and brake shoes in the back per their recommendation. $450.00 later I was off to test out my new brakes. At half pedal and higher speed they were fine, while driving slow, the back tires would make a screeching noise. Not wanting to deal with pep boys anymore, I was recommended to All Car Specialists. Although a far drive, I was going past there to go on a trip so I could drop my car off. Turns out that pepboys didn't really check everything well because the back tires were actually locking up. The brake shoes were the wrong ones and pep boys over machined the back drums. So All Car Specialists got me the right brake shoes, new drums, and resurfaced the front rotors. They fixed everything that was wrong and my brakes felt great again. It kind of sucks I had to pay twice, but All Car got it right and brakes arent something I want to chance. Ill be bringing my bill back to pepboys because I'm not that happy. On a side note, All Car also replaced my slipping clutch and that feels great too.
