Businiess name:  Southside Steaks

Review content:
What a let down. I was excited to FINALLY get a cheesesteak in Pittsburgh and ended up at Southside Steaks. These are nothing like Philly Cheesesteaks! First of all, Philly does not use the fake buttered flavored oil that Southside Steaks uses in its cheesesteaks. It was oozing out of my cheesesteak and had a fake flavor to it. The steak was too thick (not properly chopped up and separated) and the onions were not cooked enough. AND, there was not enough steak in it at all. Also, a real Philly cheesesteak also uses white american cheese, melted throughout and not only cheez whiz like everything thinks! I have to give them one compliment though - the roll was not bad, somewhat close to the real thing. Maybe a little too thick though. I would go back if they learned how to make them like the real thing. Pros: Open eating area
