I've been coming here for about 4 years and every year its gotten worse. Over the last year its gotten really bad and this last time visiting will be my last. I rented a 400 cc manual ATV. The ATV was in pretty bad shape and had trouble starting and switching gears. My little brother got an automatic 125 cc (his first time) and it would occasionally stall out (on flat ground) and we would spend 5-10 minutes starting it up again since it had trouble.
When I returned my ATV I was accused of rolling it while I did no such thing. They were being very rude about it and wouldn't even make eye contact with me while talking to me about it. They cited the sand all over the bike as proof but I had gotten stuck a few times and the sand got flung about everywhere. Then they added it was due to an oil leak that could only happen if the bike flipped. I checked online when I got home and those leaks can occur over time or due to steep riding. They eventually set an ultimatum of ""pay us $25 here or we'll take it out of your deposit, your choice"". I had no choice otherwise they wouldn't drive us back to town. When getting back we had a talk with the manager which went as far as to insult us directly and we had had enough, we took the day off to enjoy it not to get into an argument with the rude staff of what is now is a sub-par ATV rental place. There are plenty of other rental places in the area, and they are cheaper as well. So don't waste your money on these guys.
