Businiess name:  Longhorn Smokehouse

Review content:
Longhorn is a pretty homely restaurant, but their beef brisket is SO good. It's tender and flavorful...they will put barbeque sauce on it--they have a regular and a spicy one (and the spicy one is actually spicy!) Their lunch special is a really good deal--usually a brisket sandwich of some sort, and then two sides. Their scalloped potatoes and their macaroni and cheese are both really yummy. Their ranch beans taste like those ""ranch beans"" you can get in a can, but these have chopped beef brisket mixed in. Also, the lunch special is really quick! You can get in there and finish eating well within a normal work lunch break. We also get their takeout a lot for dinner--they have a family pack with a couple of pounds of meat, plus sides and bread--it's a really good deal because you get a ton of food--easily enough for a couple of people to make 3 or 4 meals out of, depending on how much you eat. If you're not a red-meat fan, you could try their smoked turkey, which is really juicy, tender, and flavorful. If you're a vegetarian, this is probably not a very good restaurant choice for you because even their veggie sides usually have meat in them. (Except the corn, which I think is just corn.) Their service is straightforward and efficient--they're not rude, but they've also usually got a line of about 15 people so they don't stop to chat, either. The only thing I really don't like about Longhorn Smokehouse is their bread choices. Their cornbread is very dense and heavy. Their white bread and their buns are just garden variety pre-bought sliced bread or hamburger buns. They're not bad, but I think that the one thing that would push me over the top to give Longhorn a five star rating would be if they had fresh baked bread or a better cornbread recipe. Then, I would be the happiest, fattest little brisket-eating piglet in this town. Pros: Awesome brisket, great value Cons: Not much ambience
