Expereince was ok -= food was good, service was severly lacking, strange, and bordering on rude, even though we kept taking everything in stride. decor was cool (we went to enjoy the good food under rustic vibe), but dinnerware did not match the vibe at all (they were eastern/japenese sleek) and was a bit confusing as to what they wanted to be. Food was good, but good service to honor that good food was not present. don't mind laid-back, but basic measures of restaurant behavior were not met. Making reservations was equal to another reviewer's experience, so i'm glad to know it wasn't us. Made reservations for a birthday dinner for 2 sat nt, requesting specific table, with plenty of advanced notice. called few days before to slightly adjust time, and you'd think i was calling Lutece, as i was emphatically refused my slight change. showed up on time, no clue who we were, nor of our table request. rest of the nt was spent in nearly empty restaurant (so much for unchangabley tight reservations) and quite uncomfortable on the bench of the banquette, the seats oddly halfway facing each other, but not really. we were also disappointed by the lack of any real presence of vegetables, other than a garnish. dessert was fantastic tasting (pear/red wine sauce), fortunately i was able to get passed the presentation: it looked like a giant cow patty, fresh from the field! is that what was meant by ""Fresh Green Market Ingredients""? after having this regrettable experience, came to find a message left late friday nt at my work number (they had my personal too) confirming the wrong time, which was the exact time i wanted, that they refused to give me. ironic. Pros: food Cons: service
