Review content:
As a self-professed foodie this is the type of place I love dining at. I thought I'd visit it a couple of times before forming an opinion or writing a review (judging by what others have said here). I have been back four times now...and I wouldn't hesitate to highly recommend this to anyone and everyone. Yes, on one night the balance of flavors wasn't as spot on as I was used to but, hey, that's the exciting thing about a place where the chef is 'ballsy' enough to tweak the menu constantly according to the market or what wacked inspiration he had that day. And, he seems to run the kitchen on his own! How he pumps out that food on a busy night is astounding. The service? Well it was as refreshing as the food. You'd expect pretentious staff but what you get is a couple of very pleasant young ladies who add to the experience by being very well versed in what they put in front of you. Knife and Fork is one of the few fine dining places I'd return to regularly, on the basis that it will suprise and challenge my pallette on every visit. Pros: constantly testing your palette Cons: constantly testing your palette
