Review content:
I brought my vehicle in to have it inspected at Champlain Valley Auto Sales. Upon their inspection, I was informed I had two bad tire pressure sensors. After receiving their quote, I looked around for better pricing and brought my vehicle to Noyes Automotive and Tire, 777 Pine Street Burlington, VT 05401, to have the sensors replaced. Before replacing the sensors Noyes tested the sensors. The results of the test showed that no sensors were bad. The only thing needed was a little air in the left front and spare tire and the tire sensor indicator light went off. I went back to Champlain Valley Auto to discuss my results from Noyes and said I wanted them to inspect my vehicle because there is nothing wrong with my sensors. I asked the gentleman at the counter if he thought they should have their tester checked and he informed me it was new. Asked if he thought new things could potentially not work, he replied, no, it?s new and all new things work. I had to spend $75.98 at Noyes, after spending $5.35 at Champlain Valley Auto to learn this. I have now spent $81.33 and my vehicle is still not inspected. The gentleman said they did not like my tone, which I was understandably bothered, but calm, and proceeded to tell me to go back to Noyes and have them inspect it and refused to inspect it for me. I feel Champlain Valley Auto has unethical business practices to create unnecessary work for its own profits at the cost of its consumers. They wanted to charge me $374 to replace the sensors because of their lack of due diligence and proper understanding of how to diagnose the most basic of vehicle maintenance. I could not even begin to imagine how lost they would be with a more complex issue.
