I was a bit skeptical about hiring an interior designer at first, but working with Duncan Hughes made me a believer. We had some unique challenges at our place (old kitchen, awkward size family room, loads of old wallpaper that had to come down). Duncan Hughes really transformed our place - the furniture, the carpets, window treatments, everything all really works together.
We didn't want our home to look too ""decorated""; and our whole place now just feels so comfortable, sophisticated and beautiful - just what we wanted. He also was great about recommending furniture and fabrics that would hold up against our young children. I highly recommend Duncan Hughes Interiors.
