Review content:
Disappointed by food quality and lack of oversight. At over $100 per person, I expect food that is properly prepared and beautifully presented. The oysters on the half shell were not cleaned well, not detached for polite eating and were tossed onto a plate. The much touted sweet potato fries were served with a marmalade so cloyingly sweet, my guests thought it was peach jam. The Florida lobster and Alaskan crab were both over cooked. But the grouper was the biggest disappointment. Served on a watery bed of linguine, it suffered in texture and flavor. While the manager did check up on us during our meal and an additional manager came to visit, both of them failed to oversee whoever is washing the silverware as each of four place settings contained a dirty implement. The waitress, however, provided excellent, thoughtful and prompt service.
