Typical pub with unusually pretty decor. The pitch on the menu makes you think this will be some kind of transformative experience: it probably will not be. The etched windows and Victorian wallpaper notwithstanding this is simply a very good burgers and beer place. The beer selection is very good, service is prompt, atmosphere is a little more romantic than most places of this type. While recommended (the burgers are good and I like the assortment of beers geared towards the novice) be aware: the place is small, the bar crowded and the restrooms practically in the dining room! Pros: Nicer dining room/ambience than most pubs Cons: Small; bar can get crowded/noisey
