Home Fabrics is my #1 spot to look when I'm searching for home fabrics. They are conveniently located in the Clairemont Square Shopping area and the store itself is clean and very well lit with natural lighting to truly see the color and detail of the fabrics. They carry many types of fabrics, from chenille and silk to denim and cottons. They have a great range of upholstery weight fabrics. They also carry a limited selection of fleece, flannels and regular weight cottons. They also carry large and small area rugs, pillows and foam for household decorating projects plus a limited section of tassels, thread and other notions. The quality of the fabric I have purchased there has been top notch. Their prices are usually comparable or much less than other local stores or online.
Their staff generally is helpful and friendly though I have gotten an occasional one who seems just not inclined to be helpful at all. That is the exception rather than the rule though.
