Review content:
Lightnin Jacks BBQ is a family favorite in our household. They are located in the Clairemont Square shopping center, Clairemont Mesa Blvd and Clairemont Drive. They have limited indoor seating and some patio, and also the mall seating with tables, patio heaters and a water fountain. The menu offers burgers, ribs, chicken and beef plus some seafood. If you can't decide, do what my husband does and order the meat sampler, which is a little bit of everything basically. Their regular fries are wonderful, but if you are in the mood for something different, try their sweet potato fries for a treat. They have some beer on tap and soft drinks. Price is definitely family friendly, and there are coupons out in the Pennysaver regularly. I can't say enough positive about the staff there, always friendly and helpful. Service is prompt (you order at the counter and they bring it to you) and I have never had bad food there.
