I simply asked the owner (older asian male) why the stamps are 69 cents. He had already stuck them onto my 3 envelops. I didn't have enough change and he said that he couldn't take debit unless it was over $5. I told him that he'd have to take the stamps off until I could get some cash back from Kroger. He says, ""I should kick your @ss you f#cking guy!"" Then he tells me that I should be ashamed as a black man bc I am the worst he has ever met. Really? Look, I'm a new doctor. I just moved here from the Midwest to do my residency, and I'm running into foolishness like this in my first week here. I clearly gave this guy a run for his money verbally, but I'm not gonna go crazy; it's not worth it. I waited for the police, who were very nice and later agreed with me that the owner is not only nuts, but will probably be brutally attacked at some point for testing the wrong person. Please don't go here. This should not be happening
