Review content:
My family of four stayed at this hotel for 3 days in May for a family wedding. The Lion's convention was occurring at the same time.?? We provided a valid American Express card at the time of check-in that we use daily (before and since our stay). We have had no problems with this card except with Marriott.?? Marriott claims to have had trouble running the card and the hotel did not contact us. In mid-June, I received a bill in the mail from Marriott. Puzzled, my husband called Marriott and provided payment over the phone with American Express. This was never applied. ?? We received a second letter from a collections agency. We had to send a check by certified mail to finally pay Marriott despite our many attempts to pay starting at our check-in. ?? We paid this hotel on check-in but they couldn't seem to process our American Express card. This hotel claimed to have run our card and it was declined. We called American Express and no attempts to run our card were made by the hotel.?? Two months later and what a mess! I cannot recommend this hotel and if you do stay there, don't use American Express. I wonder if the hotel does not function smoothly during a convention.
