Review content:
UPDATE: The owner and his or her minions have made their rounds with reviewing their own restaurant--favorably, of course! You can spot the scripted reviews on several ratings sites, and its pathetically transparent. The line varies slightly, but is always a version of: ""Club Durham did cause quite an argument between us. While my wife and I were arguing whether or not the fish was the best we've ever had, our fab hipster dining companions were fighting over whether the pizza was the best they've ever had.""
Sometimes the scenario is two diners arguing amongst themselves, sans the alleged ""friends"". Hey, Club D owners--get a clue. A fake review is easy to spot--especially one as thinly-veiled as yours. ""My friends and I were just having a discussion. Some of us were arguing about how ignorant you think we are, while others were arguing how stupid you think we are. Dar, de, dar, de, dar.""
And NO, I have never worked for your restaurant. So, I am not a disgruntled former employee as you posited. I'm a former patron with a palate discernible enough to know when my taste buds are being assaulted by crappy food.
If I could rate this restaurant less than one star, I would. The food was completely tasteless. Imagine a mouth full of flour, and that is what the hamburger bun tasted like. Then there was the burger itself: a stamped out frozen burger. It was RAW. They brought it back to the kitchen, and I could hear the cook complaining about it. Knowing what they do in kitchens to ""get back at the customer"", I didn't eat it. I paid and left. The service was slow. The price for the raw hamburger was outrageous. The staff was fighting, and the female manager was audibly dressing down one of her coworkers for having bothered her for a check. The entire experience was BAD. Stay away from this dump.
