Review content:
As a referred and second time customer to Robert R Sims & Assoc., I have been stunned by their awful and unprofessional service. Sims & Assoc received my, apparently insignificant, tax information the last week in March. After not hearing from Sims & Assoc. to come sign my return by April 15th, I decided to make an inquiry. After several left messages, I was finally able to speak to Mr. Sims in MAY. Unbeknownst to me, an extension was filed. When I inquired why and why I wasnt notified, the agitated response was basically there were more important clients to deal with and the office was busy. I didnt realize that one customer was more important than another? After a heated conversation with Mr. Sims, I was told I could come sign the form for electronic filing and pick up my return. This was done in MAY. I have yet to receive my refund. When I inquired w/Mr. Sims office, I was told to go on-line to check the refund status w/the IRS. IRS has no record of my return. Since June, I have left NUMEROUS messages for Mr. Sims. I have asked the office staff to just please confirm whether the return was filed. I can tell its embarrassing for the staff every time I call. I guess I will have to wait until October 15th to find out if my tax return has been filed. I just assumed that being a return customer; I would at least receive a courtesy call and an answer to my question, not be avoided, a mistake that wont happen again.
