Review content:
Our situation is unique in that we are sailboat cruisers currently living in Guatemala, Central America. I have two of their regular patients onboard. When we asked them to refill our Heartguard, they sold us six months worth and refused to sell us any more without the dogs coming back to the US for testing. That is not an option, we can't sail or fly back to the states for a test. We live in a jungle area where it's crucial that they be protected against heartworms. I was shocked that they didn't understand that in a jungle in a third world country, vet care is non-existent and they are our regular vet. We asked them for help because we've supported them exclusively while living in Kemah, Texas. We have never ever let our girls go without protection and their records prove that fact. Their ignorance in this matter is putting our girls in life-threatening jeopardy. Sorry, but this is just wrong! I am very disappointed. Pros: It's a very nice facility. The front desk staff are helpful. Cons: The vets are good at treating the pet, not good at making decisions about certain issues.
