Review content:
I am a ""pizzaholic""....I love all kinds of toppings but the real deciding factor is the sauce. Flavor, texture & amount of sauce are all taken into consideration, not to mention how well the pizza itself holds up for breakfast the following morning....cold.
I hadn't lived until I visited Chicago ten years ago and sampled the pizza. The sauce is definitely different than any other I had eaten. Zachary's is THE only place I have found in my area that has AUTHENTIC Chicago Style Pizza. The 45 min drive is well worth it!! I'll eat it in my car if it is too crowded inside! I asked if the owner was actually from Chicago and was told he was. This would explain it. Like I said, there's nothing like Chicago style pizza. I wish his place was closer....my waist is glad it isn't!!!
Pros: authentic chicago, fresh ingredients, reasonably priced
Cons: too small, too far away
