Review content:
I like Zach's and even get cravings for a Zach's deep dish from time to time. But I cannot understand how it rates so highly. The pizza is good, fresh zesty ingredients, and large hefty, messy pies. But I grew up in the east bay and don't know of a single person who would rate this place as the best in the eastbay. Best deep dish maybe, and definitely a top 10 in the eastbay. They do have a plethora of fans though, as it is very crowded at peak hours. For service, ambiance and pizza I much prefer Lococo's and if I had to eat pizza everyday I would choose Amici's, Rustica or Bette's OVD.
Pros: Hearty zesty pizza, Unique special pies, ?
Cons: , No ambiance, Loud and stark (oak)
