Review content:
I wasn't going to bother writing a review about this place because the beers are really good, but then I had to eat there a second time, and was utterly disappointed. The salads are extremely mediocre -- I had wilted ice berg lettuce TWO times in a row -- which is impressive considering it takes weeks for that kind of lettuce to lose any crisp. The calamari had a good fry, but the actual squid part was pretty gross - very rubbery, no flavor - and came with a red sauce with horseradish. The fried chicken was overly friend and was very dried out. At a small restaurant, I'd over look these things, but old lettuce and fried food that's gross? even mcdonalds can get this right! And for 1/3 of the price! That said, if you just want to go have a few beers and fries and maybe catch the game, this place has a friendly bar.
