Don't be put off by the name. I almost didn't go because I thought it was some kind of church thing -- the word "faith" is often code for that stuff. No pushy religion going on here. The name is because the building is owned by the Hare Krshna community. That's why the whole place has a such a mellow, calming vibe. And it's also why they can afford to give classes at such a great price -- $13 or $11.50 with a 10 class card. Excellent teachers, mostly Iyengar trained. Huge room with wonderful equipment -- and they don't nickel and dime you with mat rental fees like a lot of places. They have this amazing rope wall! A big, sunny space where you never feel crowded. Classes range from absolute beginners to fairly advanced. They also offer special classes for people who have back problems.
