Review content:
You can get better for the price in little Tokyo, no doubt.
the food is mediocre, service was bad.
I ordered a draft beer - why let me wait at the table for 10 minutes and not bring me the beer until the food is ready?
why bring me a flat beer that was waiting at the bar for 10 minutes?
The food was ok, no thrills, nothing more then ok. without going into a long deep tiring description I could def get something way better (and less greasy) outside in one of the authentic Japanese places (who said Takumi?)
If you don't care for really good food, or if all you want is a nice place to seat with your buddies and have some beer watch a game then this might be your choice.
decor is nice and intimate but the loud blend of hiphop and rock so doesn't work with it. this place need some house or electronic chill.
What really killed me is that after I have finished eating and been waiting with my credit card on the table for 7 minutes the guy in charge finally showed up and offered me the check, 2 minutes after the waitress showed up and asked me if I want another beer..
when I said no, she gave me evils and left.
The place was designed by pros and being run by amateurs and cater to such, I presume.
