Businiess name:  Michelangelo Ristorante

Review content:
Although not my favorite Italian restaurant in Salt Lake, Michelangelo is, in the least, a worthy choice. The antipastas and various salads are rich and abundant. However, as much as the homemade pasta (ravioli, spaghettis etc) is recommended, I usually pass and go for the rack of lamb (a flavorful special) or a chicken dish. Not sure if it's just a quirky coincidence but everytime I've had a pasta dish it has been both too salty and overcooked. The pasta had no ""bounce""... just sogginess. The wine list (most coming from the Tuscany region) is exceptional. Desserts are tastey. Pros: great service, friendly atmosphere, superb specials Cons: basement dwelling, pasta not up to snuff
