Review content:
This little store packs a lot of different products into a small space. They have pretty awesome organic produce but sometimes let it sit out too long so watch out for mold. Same with the prepackaged products on the shelves. Some are so old they have a thick layer of dust on them and are well past their expiration date.
They package some of the stuff themselves and do not label it well at all.
Sue, the owner, is very strange. One day she will be very nice and helpful, another day she is cold and rude. The other Asian lady who works there follows Sue's lead. If you ask for help, it is hit or miss if you will get it or get your head bit off.
Some of their prices are actually higher than Whole Paycheck! So it will be cool when the new Whole Foods opens across the street. I feel kind of bad saying that after shopping at Open Sesame for 5 years but the bad customer service days were very bad and coupled with the high prices...well what are you gonna do?
Pros: Great little store in Lafayette
Cons: Expensive, staff can be very rude
