Review content:
I have lived in numerous apartment complexes, and Saint Andrews Commons in Columbia SC is BY FAR THE WORST. I have never written a bad review of an apartment complex, but I feel compelled to warn people not to move in there. First, they charge you 4 dollars a month ""service charge"" every month, and a larger service charge your first month (be sure to read the entire lease, it's in there). Second, the water and sewage bills were outrageous every month. (As an example, my final bill for my last month of water was over $120). Third, I never felt safe walking to my apartment; the neighborhood was poorly lit. Fourth, the walls are paper thin. You can hear everything that is going on in the adjacent apartment. Fifth, the electric bills (due to the high ceilings) are abnormally high; however, the staff will tell you they are exceptionally low. The gates never work. Overall, this was my worst experience ever.
