I applied to take my child there while I was pregnant and the Director was very nice at first. She knew I was due in February and that the baby would be coming around 8 wks later - presumably sometime in April. 2 weeks before I'm supposed to be taking my baby there, I called to verify everything. She had told me that she was having some problems getting a mom to move her TWO YEAR OLD out of the INFANT room! That the mom wanted to wait until the child was two and a half exactly. She wanted me to WAIT until June to bring my child! I'm sorry but who runs this place? The Director or the parents?!?! I understand respecting parents wishes but at some point a line can be crossed and you have to stand your ground as a business manager and make a stand for your other parents as well. At NO POINT should a two year old be in the infant room anyway! Ridiculous! One time, I had gone to see her in person at the daycare and the ladies who worked there were talking about that same child pushing the other kids (infants) and taking their toys and the Director was like see-that's the kid we're talking about. Seriously????? I don't want my infants being bullied by any toddler because some mom decides she doesn't want to take that step up into the toddler wing. Luckily, I work for my dad and was able to take extra time off to find an alternate babysitter. However, ask yourself this, if this had been you - how many jobs would let you keep adding time off to your materity leave? And what kind of ""professional"" would ask you to put yourself in that position in your job because she doesn't have the backbone to stand up to this ONE mom's threats? Just food for thought. My baby/babies will NEVER go here and I will never suggest this daycare to anyone!
