My wife and I travel on business most weekends all across the United States. There still isn't a better Indian restaurant than Udipi. We have been there dozens of times and have been overwhelmed every time by the balance and quality of their food. We haven't had a thing on the menu I wouldn't recommend. Order the baigan bartha and the masala dosa, get some chana masala too! We always start with a cup of rasam, very spicy and very wonderful. This restaurant is not about location nor ambiance, forget about it. Go for the food! I was a chef for many years and my wife was a waitress for 15 years, we know and love food. You won't be disappointed.
