Review content:
We are from NYC and just came back from Philly after a short weekend getaway. I've been to Dalenssandro's couple years ago and wanted to take my boyfriend there to taste how a good cheesesteak is supposed to be like. Sadly (but good) that Dalenssandro's was closed for vacation and we went across the street to Chubby's. To our surprise, this place is comparable to Dalenssandro's and way better than Geno's. Both my boyfriend and I love trying little local places instead of the big, fancy, well-known tourist traps. The steaks were huge, tender and juicy, and they served beer in an icy cold mug! We shared a cheesesteak with green peppers & onions, and a mug of Yuengling lager and it came out only $10 with tax and tips! Although it's a bit of a drive from the downtown area but it's definitely worth it!
Pros: Cheap and tasty food! Plenty of parking space
Cons: A little far from downtown attractions
