Review content:
I've been to coffee shops. I love coffee. The only place in Midtown, Westport or any of the surrounding city that I go for coffee is the Planet. I've never had a bad cup. Everything is fairtrade, everything is delicious. From the Chai Chargers to the cheesy breadsticks, it's hard to go wrong. There is fresh homemade bread and fresh aromatic vegetables for salads and toppings. The easy going feeling of the shop is always welcoming. This is my ""Cheers"". I can go in and satisfy any craving I have. The walls display local art work that is routinely changed, so the scenery is always intriguing. There is a diverse group of people who are regular patrons. If you don't go for the coffee or the food, if you don't go for the ambiance or art, if you don't go for the internet or board games and card games, if you don't go for the open mike nights or conversation, go in and see the bathroom. Mind you, you need to make a purchase, but it is worth it. Years of poetry and pictures fill the walls and ceiling. It is quite a sight to behold. Peoples love and agnst, their wisdom and wisecracking on display to share with the world. It's phenomenal. This coffee shop is a package deal. I'm quite attached. Pros: The friendliest baristas in town, coupled with the best coffee and food, how could you go wrong? Cons: They are not open 24 hours a day?
