I love this place. I live in Midtown and didn't return here for a long time after my first visit. The place was a dive! Now, they have new owners that really care about the place. The tuna panini tastes great. The coffee is incredible. They have an open mic night once a month that draws a good crowd.
They have the biggest selection of sugar-free syrups in town, which is a big plus. In addition, the staff always comes up with great drinks when I tell them to ""just make something up"". :)
Sometimes I'll go there and work when I get a chance to work from home. They have free, secure wireless. I don't know of any other coffee shops offering that in Kansas City.
My favorite drink here is a sugar-free chocolate, english toffee latte. Yummmy!!!
Pros: Coffee (hello), sugar free syrups, the staff is great
