Review content:
On 3/22/2011 a family member passed away. Today is 3/24/2011 and we are still waiting on the death certificate to be signed. We are being told that the funeral could be as late as the end of next week because we are unable to get the paperwork. Procedures need to be reevaluated. It has been devastating thinking that our family member is still in the morgue. All of our family lives out of town and no-one can understand what the hold up is!!!!!!!! I would never have believed that we would have to go through all this after we lost our mother. There is no way to contact a patient/family advocate or the physician who was there and pronounced she had passed. Why would it not have been signed then? He was there!!!!!
