What an awesome place!
The food was fantastic and the atmosphere was very comfortable. I loved the classic rock they had on. The wait staff was very knowledgeable and courteous, I never felt rushed and they accommodated me every step of the way.
They had an awesome selection of beers (alas, all bottled) with a few I'd never heard of. I have to say, if you like a good wheat beer, try the Hacker Pschor. They had wine as well, but that's not really my thing, so I couldn't tell you if it was any good or not.
I think everything I had there was homemade. I started off with fresh baked breadsticks. I like to call them ""nubs"" since they aren't you're typical breadstick, try them and you'll see what I mean. From there my girlfriend and I split their chicken penne florentine. It was enormous! I'm glad the waiter recommended that we split it. It came with a fresh chopped salad, I got their homemade blue cheese dressing. The pasta itself was delicious! It had a creamy white garlic sauce all over it, but it wasn't overpowering, there were red peppers, spinach, mushrooms, and chicken, all in abundance and all delicious.
We finished the night off with some of their homemade cheesecake and gelato. I got the black raspberry cheesecake and she got their take on spumoni gelato, which is basically an almond flavor. The cheese was soooo rich I had to take half of it home with me!
Overall it was an extremely enjoyable experience and one I look forward to repeating soon.
Pros: Homemade everything, vegan friendly
Cons: Dinning room was on the small side
