Review content:
I really don't like leaving negative reviews, especially ones on a local business. That being said, I have been a customer and student at Antioch Music for 20 years. I started taking piano lessons when the store was at Antioch mall at age 9 and then moved on to drum lessons in middle school. Today I bypassed the musicians friend which happens to be conveniently located near my home to make a small purchase at a locally owned music store . After arriving at Antioch music I realized that the selection of drum sticks were very limited and very overpriced ($4 a pair more than Musicians Friend) and many of the sticks had no matching pair. After settling on a couple pair to get me through rehearsal, I proceeded to checkout. The overweight bearded man at the counter walked to the stick area to retrieve the pricing and rang me up. I gave him my debit card, he ran it and then handed me my card upside down with a pen and told me to sign the back of my card. I told him I would prefer not to but offered to show two forms of ID. He very rudely told me he would check my ID after I signed my card and if I didn't like that I didn't have to purchase the items. At this point I realized it was some weird power trip. I normally would have gone to the ATM and returned to complete my purchase but the way he composed himself I decided not to. He may have had a point with the signature but his demeanor was unprofessional. I will never return. Pros: Not Corporate Cons: Not Corporate or (Without Standards)
