Review content:
I'm dating myself here but I have been going here since I was about 5 with my brother and parents. Back then it was known as Scotty Galls Fish and Chips. He retired and sold everything but the name to the new owners. Food was fabulious, not any more. When the other owners retired, there was a brief time a ""coming out of retirement"" attempt by Helen, the last Fergie's owner to have sucess again. We went there and it was the worst ever. I guess you can't duplicate something you had years ago and try again.
I remember Scotty Gall's and it was fantastic, then came Fergies. It was great then something happened. Someone changed the recipies and they suck now. If you want the best fish ever it is at Scotty Simpson's on Fenkell. It is like Scotty Galls and Fergies of old. Well worth the drive.
Pros: Worst Fish Ever (all), Best Tartar Sauce, Best Onion Rings
Cons: , Parking Limited, Busy Streets
